Our Story

I was thrilled when I found out I was pregnant. I had always dreamed of being a mother, and now it was actually happening. As soon as I discovered I was having a girl, I couldn't wait to start shopping. All the ruffles, rompers and dresses you could imagine!

When Sierra was born, I was over the moon, she was perfect in every way. I dressed her up everyday and was excited to show her off to the world. But, to my dismay, I noticed she developed a rash on her skin. At first, I thought it was just a minor irritation, but it didn't go away. Starting to get worried, I took her to the pediatrician.

The doctor told me that Sierra had developed eczema, but couldn’t give me a clear answer as to what caused it. I was shocked and devastated, but knew there had to be an explanation. So, I started to research, and realized many parents had gone through the same confusion. The common thread appeared to be unnatural fabrics and fibers. My search for the best organic clothing began, and sure enough, Sierra’s skin cleared up quickly.

I continued sourcing different materials and fabrics that were safe for babies. Finding suppliers who shared my vision of creating a healthier world for our little ones was no small task. I thought, “I need to share this with other parents, so their babies don’t have to endure what my little one did!” That’s when Tilly and Pip was born. After countless messages from grateful parents, it is heartwarming to know that our story is making an impact. We’ve turned my family's negative experience into a positive one for others.
